Fitting Memorial Planned

The Scottish Earth Mysteries Research (SEMR) paranormal studies group is planning a memorial of some type in the Dechmont Forest, in Livingston, Scotland. This will mark the site of one of the most enduring mysteries in UFO history.

On the morning of Friday, November 9, 1979, Robert Taylor and his red setter rounded a corner on a forest trail and saw an unbelievable sight, a UFO! The object appeared to be hovering just above the forest floor.

It made no sound, and seemed to be motionless. Several sphere-like objects were seen, with two of the smaller orbs, which had spikes on them, rolling toward Taylor, injuring him. He woke up about twenty minutes later.

Strange Event in the Dakotas

I would like for you to check out a report sent to me by one of our readers. The case concerns the sighting of unknown lights by her brother and two other men while on a hunting trip in the Dakotas. Their sighting is strange enough, but that's not all that happened that night.

About 45 minutes from their sighting, three college women who were doing some star gazing of their own, were found dead in their sport utility vehicle ten feet under a farmer's pond. Are these two cases related?

UFO Sighting Reports

Welcome to another session of UFO sighting reports. This week we have several very detailed reports to show you. An amateur astronomer reports an unknown object in Arizona. A Colorado man reports a half dozen bright, flat objects.

A man and wife from New Mexico see a large, gray object which has a near miss with a plane, and our last report comes from Texas, where a man and his son see a red object, stationary in the sky.

UFO over South Quadrant, Argentina

Another UFO video that has gained some popularity lately is one submitted from Argentina. The video supposedly shows one glowing object in the night skies of South Quadrant on 09-28-09.

The video has dimension to it, but you have to be patient, as the 06:29 minute video has some redundancy. I think you will find it worth the wait.

Next: A Space Station on the Moon?

We now have another report that they have found water on the moon. Not just a little water, but a lot. NASA spokesmen used the term, "significant," when describing the water content.

This discovery came about when the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite, or LCROSS, intentionally crashed October 9 into the permanently shadowed region of Cabeus crater near the moon's south pole.

After the bombing, a rocket flew through the aftermath of the event, and measured the water content. Other data was also collected during the 79 million dollar mission.

"The discovery opens a new chapter in our understanding of the moon," the space agency said in a written statement shortly after a recent briefing.

The new chapter alluded to is a space station on the moon. Now, here is the question - Do we need a space station at the moon, and are these big ticket missions worth the huge price we tax payers render? Weigh in, and tell us what you think.

2012: Now the Movie

The 2012 question keeps popping up. Now, we have a full theatrical release of 2012: The Movie. I wonder how many of these we will be exposed to before December, 2012.

Roland Emmerich, director of such notable disaster films as "Independence Day," and "The Day After Tomorrow," strikes again with his latest offering, using the 2012 prediction to draw ticket buyers.

The film stars John Cusack, Danny Glover, and Amanda Peet. The North American debut was November 13. You can see a trailer and start dates at the official 2012 site linked above. If any of you choose to see the end of the world depicted on the big screen, let us know what you think about it.

Are Aliens Created by God?

This week there has been a conference on the study of life beyond Earth, hosted by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. I am hopeful that their opinions will be made known publicly, and I wish I was a fly on the wall at what must be a hotly debated topic.

The main point of interest is that if we are contacted by an extraterrestrial race of beings, how would it affect us. Of course, some say that aliens are already among us, and our governments simply need to let the info out to the general public.

This conference will be debating a related topic also - if we can confirm alien beings, how should we treat them? Will they also be a being created by God, or did they come into existence in some other way?

Father Jose Funes, one of the organisers of the conference, said: "As a multiplicity of creatures exists on Earth, so there could be other beings, also intelligent, created by God. This does not conflict with our faith, because we cannot put limits on the creative freedom of God."

There are some very deep reaching questions here. What do you think? Do you agree with Funes' statement?

UFO Sighting Reports

We have reports this week from California, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Texas. In California, a man along with several other witnesses, saw an unknown object make unbelievable maneuvers. In Georgia, a man who was awakened in the middle of the night, observed a bright, star-like object, moving faster than an airplane.

In Pennsylvania, a man witnessed a cylindrical shaped object moving below the clouds. It was about 100 feet long. And finally, from Texas, a man reports seeing a large, dark object similar to a B-2 bomber. CNN I-Report - Video of UFOs, Arizona

CNN's I-Report has recently posted an excellent video of UFOs over Phoenix, Arizona. Although Phoenix is no stranger to UFO sightings, it is still rare to get a good video of unknown objects.

The video was taken by Brad Drenning, and it clearly shows four lights, seemingly flying in formation. Drenning took about 11 minutes of video, but heard not a sound. The military claims that they had nothing flying at the time.
