3OH!3 Streaming New Album Omens For Free

It has been three years since Colorado duo 3OH!3 released their most recent album the top 10 charting Streets Of Gold. That set included the top 10 pop hit single "My First Kiss." Now 3OH!3 have returned with their fourth studio album Omens due in stores June 18, 2013. Omens finds the duo moving in more serious direction musically, and the early word is very positive. In the week before official release, the album is streaming for free.

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" Tops the Billboard Hot 100

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" is turning into one of the biggest international pop hits of recent years. It is already a #1 smash in Australia, Canada, and the UK. Now, after just eight weeks on the chart it will leap from #6 to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 when the chart is officially published tomorrow morning. Sales of the single are stellar. "Blurred Lines" became the first song in nine weeks to top the 300,000 copies sold level in the US this week. In the UK it will likely top 500,000 copies sold in just three weeks. That makes it easily the fastest selling song of the year so far in the UK. Major credit for the success of the song must go to Pharrell Williams who produced "Blurred Lines" as well as co-writing it with fellow performers Robin Thicke and rapper T.I. Robin Thicke's previous best on the Hot 100 was the 2007 single "Lost Without U" which climbed to #14.

Ed Sheeran Moves To Nashville

Ed Sheeran, one of the UK's top current male pop stars, has confirmed that he moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area this past February. He says that, "Nashville is full of very, very nice people," and he wanted to live somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere and that he could live in the countryside. Ed Sheeran is living in a rural area outside of a small town. He likes that Nashville is lacking in the intensity of paparazzi that is present in Los Angeles or New York. Reportedly, he has a number of songs already written for his upcoming second solo album.

Austin Mahone Rolls Into the iTunes Top 10 With "What About Love"

There is another teen male heartthrob elbowing his way into the spotlight. 17 year old Austin Mahone first gained attention via YouTube, and he is now finding his way into the pop mainstream. Now, with the help of a Today show appearance this morning and an iTunes 69 cent sale, his new pop track "What About Love" is crashing into the top 10 digital singles chart at iTunes.
