Vivabox - The Perfect Gift

You know how gift cards are a great gift option because people love getting them, yet, giving them rarely gets that "wow-factor" you're looking for. The Two Best 60-Second Nail Polishes

In the January 2010 Good Housekeeping Magazine, a test was published on nail polishes that guarantee to be dry in 60 seconds or less. They had professional manicurists paint 250 nails with one coat of polish. After exact 60 seconds, they tested to see if they truly were dry.

The winners? First place goes to Rimmel: 60 Second Nail Polish. After 60 seconds, more than half of the nails were completely dry. (more than half? Isn't that still failing?)

Second place in dry time, but first place in non-chipping polish goes to Maybelline: New York Express Finish 50 Second Nail Color.

The best news is that both of these polishes are under $5 and can be found at drugstores everywhere. My advice; double or triple the dry time suggested to be safe.

Book Review: Return to Beauty by Narine Nikogosian

My latest review is the new book Return to Beauty by Narine Nikogosian. Narine is originally from Armenia and Russia and is currently a Esthetician at Ole Henriksen's Face/Body Spa in LA. She's taken her knowledge of old world beauty and provided us with a great big book full of skin care recipes.

While I loved the book and the recipes, I wasn't so sure about her Astrological input provided. Read my review to see what I mean.

But the recipes are great! And most of them couldn't be easier. Here are three recipes that Narine shared with us so you can get a feeling for the book.

One Last Pumpkin Purchase - My Latest Etsy Find

If you ask me, the pumpkin season is just too short. Buy the time we get around to feeling fall and thinking about pumpkin products, it's late October. Then, November comes and goes and we're in the gingerbread and candy cane season. (Can you see that I've thought about this more than once?)

So on Black Friday, I went on a hunt for a good bar of Pumpkin Soap to use into December. My first stop was, of course, Etsy.com, where I found Bubbles Up by Bethie B and her amazing-looking soaps.

Not only did I grab a Country Pumpkin Pie (pictured), I got Apple Crisp, Cherry Crumble and Cinnamon Coffee Cake. When the package arrived, I ripped it open and couldn't stop smelling the bars which all smelled exactly like the sweet treat they are created to mimic. My kids begged me for the bars, but I'm not giving these up for anyone.
