Shoe Deal of the Week: Nine West Pumps on Sale

One of the best shoe deals I've seen this week is on these popular Nine West pumps.

When I featured the 'Bonfire' last year, so many women commented on how much they liked them, that I thought I'd share the fact that they're now on sale for 40% off of their original price.

I have no idea how long the sale will last, but it looks like they're going pretty fast, as there is very limited stock on most of the size and color combinations I checked.

Available in a variety of colors and materials, these open-toed pumps are versatile enough to take you from a meeting to dinner, and will work with anything from pants to dresses. With 4.25" heels, and 1" partially-concealed platform soles, my personal favorite is the gray suede version shown here.

Do you hate your feet? A lot of people do, and I've heard many of those people say they can't wear sandals or other sexy shoes. And to a degree, I understand what they're saying, because as a general rule, infected toenails, cracked heels, or callouses aren't especially sexy.

But even if you weren't lucky enough to be born with naturally sexy feet, don't despair, that doesn't mean you're confined to life in loafers. The right shoes can go a long way towards making your feet look pretty.

Which Celebrities would You Buy Shoes From?

Jessica Simpson, Fergie, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton and Reba McEntire are just a few of the celebrities to have launched shoe collections, and I've no doubt that there are more celebrity shoe lines to come. But the question is, whose name will we be wearing on our feet next year, or even the year after that?

I have a few celebrities that I think should lend their names, and maybe even their sense of style, to the world of footwear, but I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

Would you like to see yourself in a pair of Oprah open-toed pumps? Or would you prefer to slip into a pair of Britney boots or Miley mules?

Jimmy Choo and UGG Australia Join Forces for a Limited-Edition Collection

As obsessed as I am with shoes, I don't spend a lot of time thinking about which designers or brands should get together to create a new line.

And I have to say, even if I had spent a lot of time thinking about it, I would have never come up with a collaboration between Jimmy Choo and UGG Australia� -- but lo and behold, someone did, and a new limited-edition collection of Ugg & Jimmy Choo styles will be released next fall.

The boots will be sold in retail stores and online, and are expected to retail for between $595 and $795.

Vivienne Westwood Shoes

In addition to being one of the most iconic designers of our time, Vivienne Westwood's has the power to terrify models the world over. Not because Ms. Westwood is difficult to work with, but because Vivienne Westwood shoes have been known to cause more than one model to take a very public tumble.

In 1993, Naomi Campbell fell on a catwalk in London wearing a pair of Vivienne Westwood shoes like the ones shown here -- 9 inch heels with 4 inch platforms.

On Cycle 6 of America's Next Top Model, future winner Danielle Evans also fell during a challenge in which the contestants had to walk in heels designed by Westwood.

So they're dangerous. But wow, they're fun to look at.
