A Brand New Feature - Show and Tell

We've just been given a brand new feature, here at About. It is called Show and Tell and it is going to be rolled out to all the sites. This feature is brand new here at Rubber Stamping. The Show and Tell feature allows readers to 'show and tell', sharing information and experiences about a subject. This is published published here at About.com Rubber Stamping and is a great way to share examples of your work with others.� I've just published the first Rubber Stamping one and it is on the theme of Christmas and Holidays Cards. You are invited to post a picture or two of your favorite card, along with a few words of how you made it. I'll be promoting this feature through the newsletter and blog over coming weeks.

So, here it is, hot off the press - Christmas and Holiday Cards Show and Tell. Do feel free to pass this on to others and a huge thank you in advance to who ever goes first, I know that it's a bit nerve wracking being the first - particularly with such a new feature!

November 3 - Sandwich Day - this day marks the birth in 1718 of John Montague, the Fourth Earl of Sandwich, who gave his name to the Sandwich. Mark the day by making your own special sandwiches and packing these in handmade and hand stamped packaging. If you don't fancy making your own packaging then why not make a hand stamped note and pop this in the lunch box to let someone know that you are thinking of them on Sandwich Day!
November 3 - Culture Day in Japan - this day is a day to celebrate Japanese culture. The Yamaha Motor Group have some scenes of Japan paper craft projects available on their website, these include free printable paper Plum Blossom and Japanese bush warbler models. November - 2 First Scheduled Radio Broadcast - in 1920. Today there are plenty of ways to listen to the radio, including listening to the radio over the Internet. Gift Tag and Pocket Template

Gift tags and pockets are quick and simple to make. Attach them to gifts, use them to make greeting cards or in a whole variety of other ways!

I made the gift tag and pocket in the photo from some left over cardstock. I stamped the snowflakes and gave them a dab of color before cutting them out and adding them to the tag and pocket.
