Fabolous is a big spender. The "Throw It in the Bag" rapper threw down $45,000 on a hunnid and twenty bottles of champagne at a nightclub. So says a friend of a friend of a friend of a source close to a friend of a source with intimate knowledge of Fab's club life and such who spoke to TMZ.

Word is Fab bought the bottles of Rose Moet as a present for a friend who was marking his birthday at Club Compound in Atlanta last weekend.

Let's see, what else can you cop for $45K or less?

A vending machine
A grand piano
Two M-936 Military wreckers
Six Empress chinchilla coats (as seen on Fat Joe)

Cam'ron and Mac Miller Working on Joint Album

If you polled random rap fans on their dream collaborators, I'd bet my last pink hoodie that Killa Cam and Mac Miller would't get any mentions. But that's not stopping the odd couple from proceeding with a collaboration anyway. The pair will try to build on what they initiated on the Big Jerm-produced single "Dig That," which dropped earlier in the year.

"We're two funny guys," Mac Miller tells xxlmag.com in a new interview. "We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music. I think the cool thing is that it's an unexpected collaboration that actually turned out dope. We wanna do some soulful hip-hop sh--, while also making some hard sh-- nd some fun music."

Interesting stuff. My fingers are crossed.

Share Your Favorite Big L Memory

Big L left us thirteen years ago on this date. He's generally counted among the greatest, despite a thin catalog and a career cut short by tragedy. L was an unfulfilled gem who displayed lyrical wizardry on songs like "MVP" and the wildly cherished "Ebonics," though he never matched the successes of Children of the Corn alumni Mase and Cam'ron nor the momentary pop recognition of DITC comrade Fat Joe. He was a gem nonetheless -- he placed #23 on my Greatest MCs list.

The one Big L moment that really sticks out to me is still "Devil's Son" -- that song still scares the crap outta me. What about you? What's your favorite Big L memory? Reminisce, reminisce.

Kanye West Sweeps Rap Grammys

Kanye West won more Grammys from his couch than any other artist last night. West scored in every hip-hop category, including Best Rap Album for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Best Rap Performance for "Otis" with Jay-Z, also a no-show at the 54th Grammys.

Not every rapper shared Yeezy's fortune. Young Money rap performer Nicki Minaj and Roc Nation MC J. Cole lost the Best New Artist nod to Bon Iver. Bummer.

M.I.A.'s Middle Finger Steals Halftime Show

NBC put measures in place to prevent wardrobe malfunctions during last night's Super Bowl show, but they had no way to anticipate M.I.A.'s bird flipping, sh!t-talking moment -- what Paste magazine co-founder, @JoshJackson, cleverly dubbed a "middle finger malfunction."

It happened during Madonna's stiff rendition of "Give Me All Your Luvin'," which also featured Nicki Minaj. With all eyes (and cameras) on Madge, it was 36-year-old rapstress M.I.A. who stole the show. She wagged her middle finger at the camera and followed up with "I don't give a sh!t" almost as a premeditated response to the controversy that was about to ensue.
