Ring of Honor Border Wars 2012 iPPV Results & Recap

For the second time in a little over a month, the big story coming out of a Ring of Honor iPPV event was a technical problem. Following last month's issues, the company moved their iPPV to their own website. Unfortunately, fans that ordered Border Wars had difficulty logging into their accounts to witness it. Unlike last month, the company will be doing the right thing for their fans. They released the following statement on their Facebook account:

"Dear Fans, Again we are extremely frustrated by the ippv result tonight and offer our deepest apologies. Since Showdown in the Sun, we have been working endlessly to provide an optimal ppv experience which we believe we have achieved.. For our website, we increased our server memory x3 and doubled its processing power. Still, it seems that our architecture could not handle the excessive user logins and we are left with a great stream that our fans can not see. If a refund is demanded, it WILL be given. Otherwise we would like to offer full retention of the replay for Border Wars as well as FREE access to the Best in the World PPV on June 24th for anyone who ordered Border Wars tonight. This will also include retention of the Best in the World PPV in your myPPV accounts. We WILL get this right no matter what it takes in time for Best in the World."

TNA Sacrifice 2012 PPV Predictions

On Sunday night, TNA Wrestling presents Sacrifice 2012. This is the final pay-per-view event before Slammiversary, the night the company celebrates their 10th anniversary. With such a monumental event coming up, there are a lot of things going on in the company and not just inside of the ring. In addition to giving you my predictions for Sunday's show, I'll also be discussing some of these issues. Best of RAW and SmackDown 2011 DVD Review

A few months ago, WWE Home Video released The Best of RAW and SmackDown 2011 on both DVD and Blu-ray. For the first time, the best of compilations for both shows were combined onto one DVD set. Prior to this year, each show used to have its own 3-disc set and both of those sets ran under a different calendar year. Are these changes better or worse for the DVD consumer? You'll have to read my review to find out the answer to that question as well as get the massive chapter listing for this set.

Ring of Honor Border Wars 2012 iPPV Preview

Following the technical issues which plagued their prior iPPV event, Showdown in the Sun, Ring of Honor has decided to move their events from a third-party website to their own. The first iPPV event that will be shown on ROHWrestling.com will be Border Wars. Dallas Page Interview

I recently had the opportunity to interview former WCW Champion "Diamond" Dallas Page. He is currently promoting his yoga system which is currently being used by many stars in the WWE and was recently mentioned during the feud between CM Punk and Chris Jericho. In addition to talking about that, I also asked him about the night David Arquette won the WCW Championship and his teaming with other celebrities like Jay Leno and Karl Malone.

WWE Extreme Rules 2012 PPV Predictions

On Sunday night, WWE returns to PPV with Extreme Rules, the one night of the year where every match has an "extreme" stipulation. The main event of this show features Brock Lesnar fight inside of a WWE ring for the first time since WrestleMania XX in 2004. Please note that a half-hour prior to the show (7:30 PM EDT), WWE will be presenting a pre-show on youtube.com which will feature a match for the US Championship. Rey Mysterio Suspended Again

WWE announced that Rey Mysterio has been suspended for 60 days due to his second violation of the Talent Wellness Program. A third violation of the policy will result in Rey being fired from the company for at least one year.

Jim Duggan Interview and Book Review

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan recently had his autobiography released and I had a chance to interview him as part of his promotion for the book. For newer fans out there that aren't familiar with his work, "Hacksaw" is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, a former King in the WWE, and the winner of the first Royal Rumble Match. He was known for his patriotism and for bringing a 2x4 to the ring. I have to admit that back in the day, I was the proud owner of a foam Jim Duggan 2x4.
