SNL Provides Horrifying Glimpse of Palin Presidency

"Saturday Night Live" returned to one of its favorite pastimes -- skewering Sarah Palin, this time imagining a world in which the former Alaska governor becomes president.

Watch SNL's mock trailer for "Palin 2012," featuring a mashup of the disaster movie "2012" and clips from Palin's book tour and the 2008 campaign.

On Election Day 2012, planet Earth is going rogue.

Al Gore on SNL

Al Gore appeared on SNL's "Weekend Update" and announced that he's come up with a new tactic for getting people to care about green issues, which is to start acting crazy.

Gore's cameo marked the fourth time he has appeared on SNL. The last time he was on the show, he appeared as "President" Al Gore, addressing the nation from a parallel universe in which he had won the 2000 election.
