Olympics Over 'Lost'

There have been a lot of problems in the past with Lost running reruns and skipping weeks. So it was decided that they would run consecutive episodes. Then the writers strike hit and broke up season 4. Season 5 had a break between Episode 5x8, LaFleur, and Episode 5x9, Namaste. And now it looks like season 6 will be interrupted by the Olympics.

We still don't have a start date or even a day of the week for Lost. All we know so far is that the season will be 18 hours long with a two hour premiere and a two hour finale. It should start early January, take a break for the Olympics, and then return in February and end during May sweeps.

'Lost' Season Finales - Which was Best?

We only have one season finale to go and it will be the SERIES finale! It's just so sad, but all of the season finales have been great. Which was your favorite?

Lost

Episode 1x24, Exodus Part 2:
- Arzt blows up
- Locke is dragged to the hole
- The hatch door is blown off
- Walt is kidnapped from the raft
Episode 2x23, Live Together, Die Alone:
- Michael takes Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley across the island under the guise of saving Walt
- They are captured and Michael and Walt are given a boat and leave the island
- Desmond believes it was his fault the plane crashed
- Desmond turns the key under the hatch
Episode 3x22, Through the Looking Glass:
- Jack takes a group to the radio tower while Jin, Bernard, and Sayid try to get control of the others and succeed with Juliet, Sawyer, and mostly Hurley's help
- Jack contacts the freighter who gets a lock on their position
- Charlie drowns in The Looking Glass station after talking to Penny
- We see Jack off the island in a flash forward
Episode 4x13, There's No Place Like Home Part 2:
- Ben turns the wheel and there is a bright white light
- The freighter blows up with Jin and Michael still on board
- The helicopter crashes after the island disappears
- Locke becomes the leader of the Others
Episode 5x16, The Incident:
- Jacob is a real person who visited many of the Losties off the island
- Jacob's nemesis may be impersonating Locke and gets Ben to kill Jacob
- Jack drops a bomb into the Swan site hole and Juliet falls into the hole and tries to detonate the bomb

'Lost' Season Premieres - Which was Best?

I'm guessing that the season 6 premiere will be the best, but we'll have to wait and see. As far as the Lost finales, season 3 was voted the best, followed closely by the season 5 finale (poll results). So which premiere was the best?

Lost

Episode 1x1, Pilot Part 1:
- Jack wakes in the jungle
- The plane had crashed after going off course
- There is something scary in the jungle
Episode 2x1, Man of Science, Man of Faith:
- There is a man inside the hatch
- Jack meets Desmond and realizes that they'd met before, off the island
- Shannon thinks she sees a dripping wet Walt in the jungle
Episode 3x1, A Tale of Two Cities:
- The others see Flight 815 break apart in the sky
- Sawyer and Kate are kept by the Others in cages
- Jack is kept in a room and meets Juliet who talks to him from a second room separated by glass
Episode 4x1, The Beginning of the End:
- Off the island, Hurley sees Charlie and Charlie tells him to go back
- Hurley sees someone in the cabin
- Everyone finds out that Charlie is dead
- Naomi dies after sending a message to the freighter
- Two groups are formed, one with Jack that goes back to the beach and one with Locke that goes to the Barracks
- Daniel parachutes onto the island
Episode 5x1, Because You Left:
- The Oceanic 6 are off the island
- There is a fair amount of time skipping going on
- Daniel finds Desmond and tells him to find his mother at Oxford
- Locke sees the Nigerian plane crash and is shot by Ethan and then helped by Richard

'Lost' Halloween Costumes

I can't decide whether to go as the smoke monster (most fun) or Juliet (my favorite character).

Knowing that this is the last Halloween that it will be, well, not obsessive to dress up as a Lost character, just adds to the pressure.

I can't promise that I won't dress up as a Lost character next year, or the year after that, but even fans of the show might think that is crazy.

Are You Obsessed With 'Lost'

Almost since television was invented there have been mega fans of shows. These people might go to conventions, talk to other fans, and watch episodes over and over again. It became easier to chat with other fans with the invention of the internet. I've never been an obsessed fan, until now. Until Lost came along I was your average, casual television viewer.

Now, I have a whole Web site dedicated to the show, I follow Lost blogs, and listen to Lost podcasts, and I think about the show several times a day. I am completely obsessed with Lost.

Ben Wins the 'Lost' Bad Guy

Readers of Totalscifionline.com and Lost Magazine have voted Ben Linus as the show's top Bad Guy and I totally agree. I voted for Ben.

He's a very complex villain and Michael Emerson is brilliant at playing him. We can hate Ben and then feel sorry for him, all within the same episode.

Ethan Rom and Charles Widmore received the second and third amount of votes, while there were also votes for Juliet, Sawyer, Locke, Jack, and Vincent the dog. They thought it was funny that a dog got votes, but seriously, Vincent could be the biggest villain ever. We'll find out in 2010.

The villain-themed issued of Lost Magazine hit shelves on October 13th and will be available on the 29th in the UK. Happy Halloween!

The Lost Island is full of mystery and acts as another character to the story of Lost.

It appears that people have been living on the island for many years, back into ancient times, and that there has always been disagreements between them, as there are now between the survivors of 815 and the Others.

No 'Lost' Season 6 Previews

Well, this is a first, but it shows how much pull co-executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have and how popular Lost is. There will be no, not even a little, glimpse into season 6 on ABC.

Normally, we'd be seeing promos that tease about the next season, but it turns out that the first few episodes are so revealing, that there is nothing they can show that wouldn't give the whole thing away.

It's extremely unusual for the networks to let the show runners dictate how a show is promoted, but Damon and Carlton have earned respect among the decision makers at ABC, not to mention that Lost is a show unlike any other.

I imagine we'll still see commercials promoting Lost the Final Season, but they will be clips from past seasons.

Even though we don't have footage of Lost season 6, we still have Lost spoilers. Take a look if you want to know.
