Trying not to screw up 'Lost'

"We have written 112 episodes, with about 9 more to go. We have come this far, so just trying not to screw it up," Lost co-executive producer Damon Lindelof told AOL at a Star Trek event.

He said, "We really want the focus in the last year to be on the original castaways that we have been following since the beginning. But that doesn't mean there won't be a couple new flavors in the melange. There are a couple new faces, but not as many as there have been in past seasons."

He also said that we will probably get a little more than we are expecting a little sooner than we are expecting. That sounds good! They rarely do what we're expecting. It's always better!

'Lost' Meets 'Twilight'

It may be because I'm right in the middle of the final Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, but I found Zap 2 It's Don't get Lost in All the Twilight Buzz article with a list of how different Lost would be if it took place in the Twilight universe incredibly funny.

My favorite: Instead of the Others, we would refer to the mysterious island natives as "Team Jacob".

So if Kate were Bella, would that make Sawyer Edward and Jack Jacob? Or would you say it was the other way around?

The Countdown to 'Lost' the Final Season Begins

Now that we know that 'Lost' is returning February 2nd, the countdown begins.

I have such mixed feelings about this season. It's so great that it's almost here and that we will get a lot of answers, but it's going to be so sad when it's over. It sounds funny, but Lost has been a profound part of my life for the past 5 years.

Okay, enough of that talk. Let's be excited about the return of our favorite show!

'Lost' Premieres February 2nd

Finally, a premiere date. Lost will air Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. beginning February 2nd, 2010.

Lost the Final Season begins with a three hour event on February 2nd. The usual recap type special will start at 8, then from 9 to 11 is the season 6 premiere episode, LA X.

What do you think of the Tuesday night time slot? It's fine with me. I'm just happy to have a premiere date!

'Lost' Premiere Date...Please?

The final season of Lost is a pretty momentous event, but ABC hasn't announced when season 6 will premiere or even what day of the week it will air. Why won't they share this important information? My guess is they don't know.

Lost has jumped around in time slots, but seemed to settle nicely into Wednesdays at 9. Right now, Eastwick is in that time slot, but sadly, the show has been cancelled. So that leaves the slot open for Lost, right? Wrong.

According to Kristin at EOnline ABC may be moving Ugly Betty into what I consider Lost's spot.

So where does that leave Lost? They'll have to figure it out before January. At least we know Lost won't be cancelled.

We all know that Lost is a puzzle, but remember when they came out with those Lost jigsaw puzzles a few years ago?

Do you have the puzzles? My question is, now that we know more about Lost, is there anything more that the puzzles can tell us? Is there any indication on the puzzles of flash forwards or time shifts?

It might be time to dust off the ol' puzzles and take a second look.

Okay all you quiz takers, I've got a real challenge for you. In the Lost Moments in Time Quiz, I show you a still image and you figure out what was happening in that scene. It's a tricky one, but I think you'll have fun with it.

Oh, and just to give you an idea of it's difficulty level, when I was testing the quiz I got two wrong and had to go back and look them up to be sure I hadn't made a mistake. I was right when I wrote the quiz, wrong when I took it. Oops.

This quiz covers all five seasons.
