The Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb: Original TV Soundtrack tops the Kids' Music Charts for the sixth week in a row, followed once again by They Might Be Giants' Here Comes Science for those same six weeks.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack charges up the Top 10 just in time for the holidays, while former chart favorites like Barenaked Ladies' Snack Time! and Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana 3 Soundtrack make reappearances on this week's Kids' Music Charts. Here are the Top 10 best-selling children's CDs for the week of November 15, 2009.

Weekly Kids' Music Charts

There was absolutely no change in the top 5 spots in this week's Kids' Music Charts, with the Phineas and Ferb: Original TV Soundtrack leading the pack for the fifth week in a row. The only relatively new entry into the Top 10 was holiday favorite A Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack, featuring music by The Vince Guaraldi Trio. Guaraldi's album of compositions for Charles Schulz's 1965 holiday special also made our list of some of the best Christmas music for kids.

Here are the Top 10 best-selling children's CDs for the week of November 8, 2009.

Disney Channel's JONAS Renewed for Second Season

The Disney Channel Network announced Monday that they have picked up a second season of JONAS, the comedy series starring Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas. Next season's JONAS production team will add Lester Lewis (The Office) and Paul Hoen (The Cheetah Girls: One World) to the mix.

In its first season, JONAS was ranked No. 1 among kids and tweens, averaging 3.4 million viewers. JONAS will return to production in February for a mid-2010 debut.

The JONAS Soundtrack, which at one point was scheduled to be released earlier this year in September, is now up for a 2010 release on Walt Disney Records. For fans who just can't wait, a tracklisting for the upcoming JONAS Soundtrack has already been announced...check it out!

Upcoming Disney Movie Soundtracks

For both the casual moviegoer and the rabid fanatic, Disney soundtracks are sometimes as highly anticipated as the films themselves. From the recently-released Disney's A Christmas Carol, starring Jim Carrey, to next year's guaranteed blockbuster Toy Story 3, upcoming Disney movie soundtracks feature music composed by Randy Newman, Alan Silvestri, and Danny Elfman, as well as performances by Ne-Yo, Dr. John, Anika Noni Rose, and Andrea Bocelli.

Thanksgiving Songs for Kids

Know what's harder to find than a can of pumpkin pie filling on Thanksgiving Eve? An album full of Thanksgiving songs for kids! So, I've compiled a list of some of the best Turkey Tunes for Tots from various CDs, from traditional songs like "Over the River and Through the Wood" by Dog On Fleas and The Quincy Choral Society, to thoughtful, original odes by John McCutcheon and Si Kahn, to fun, silly tunes by Debbie Friedman, The Uncle Brothers and Laurie Berkner.

Sesame Street 40th Anniversary Music

Did you see the Google Doodle today? More and more Muppets will be featured on Google's front page in anticipation of Sesame Street's 40th Anniversary on November 10, 2009.

Besides a planned reissuing of three classic Sesame Street albums by Koch Records next week, fans can also look forward to a cover album of favorite Sesame Street and Muppet Show tunes in the near future. Koch Records and Sesame Workshop will release for the first time on CD The Original Cast Record, Big Bird Sings, and Bert & Ernie Sing Along, originally released in 1970, 1974, and 1975, respectively. And early next year Walt Disney Records will release Muppets Revisited, a CD of covers by folks like Weezer, My Morning Jacket, and Andrew Bird. Stay tuned for further info...

Here's an oddity: half of the Top 10 Kids' Music best-sellers over the past week were releases from the past, some going back as far as the early '90s. Baby Einstein's Lullaby Classics, Jack Johnson's Curious George Soundtrack, Laurie Berkner's Rocketship Run, They Might Be Giants' Here Come the 123s, and Music for Little People's Toddler Favorites all made strong showings, falling just below the Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb: Original TV Soundtrack.

Here are the Top 10 best-selling children's CDs for the week of October 25, 2009.
