Autopsy reports on a slain Florida couple known for adopting disabled children show that they both were shot multiple times in the bedroom during a home-invasion robbery. Byrd and Melanie Billings were killed in their Beulah home July 9.

Blood, DNA Link Suspect to Yale Student

Blood and DNA evidence links a lab technician to a slain Yale University medical student, according to details in an arrest warrant issued in the case. DNA from Raymond Clark and victim Annie Le were found on a sock hidden in the ceiling near where Le's body was found, the warrant said.

Le, a pharmacology doctoral student, disappeared from the research lab September 8. Read more...

Police Release Sketch of 'Grim Sleeper'

The Los Angeles Police Department has released a sketch of a man they suspect in at least 11 deaths since the 1980s in hopes of tracking down the serial killer. The suspect is known only as the "Grim Sleeper" due to the fact that he apparently took a 14-year hiatus.

The deaths occurred in Los Angeles, L.A. County and Inglewood from 1985 until 2007. Read more...

Chandra Levy Murder Trial Delayed

The murder trial of the man accused in the death of Chandra Levy has been postponed for 10 months because prosecutors plan to add more charges to the indictment. Ingmar Guandique's murder trial is now scheduled to begin Oct. 4, 2010.

Teachers Behaving Badly: Megan Sainsbury

Megan Sainsbury, a physical education teacher at Prospect High School in Saratoga, California, pleaded no contest to one felony count of attempted sexual penetration of a 17-year-old female student. Investigators said Sainsbury was guilty of kissing, hugging and "sexting" the student. Sainsbury is one of 125 females in our female predator photo gallery.

A North Carolina man previously accused of kidnapping a 5-year-old North Carolina girl now faces charges of first-degree murder and first-degree rape of a child. Mario McNeill admitted taking Shaniya Davis from her Fayetteville home.

Teen Charged as Adult in Elizabeth Olten Case

A 15-year-old Missouri girl has been indicted and will be tried as an adult in the murder of a 9-year-old neighbor. Alyssa Bustamante faces first-degree murder and armed criminal action charges for the death of Elizabeth Olten.

Barzee Pleads Guilty for Smart Kidnapping

The woman charged with her husband with the 2002 kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart has entered a guilty plea in federal court and asked her victim to forgive her for the pain she caused. Wanda Eileen Barzee, 64, also apologized to the court for her role in the kidnapping of the 14-year-old Salt Lake City girl.
