The Life and Times of Tim in the UK

Though The Life and Times of Tim lived only a short while on HBO in the States, the show is now airing in the UK on Virgin 1, Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. I hope British fans enjoy it more than we did. Perhaps the understated voiceovers and ridiculous situations will prove spot on. This Week's Schedule: The Goode Family Moves

Mike Judge's new animated comedy on ABC, The Goode Family, has only been drawing between 2 and 3 million viewers. Now it's been slotted on low-rated Friday nights, so it doesn't seem like this clever comedy will be around much longer. Fox really does have Animation Domination. Good-bye, Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was one of the first celebrity guest stars on The Simpsons. In season three, he voiced John Jay Smith, a mental patient who is convinced he is Michael Jackson. Due to a contractual agreement with his recording company, Jackson could not be credited during the episode, titled "Stark Raving Dad." Knowing this tidbit quickly became a fan's badge of honor.

Sadly, Michael Jackson died yesterday. Regardless of anything else that happened in his life, he was a very talented man who created his own music, his own art, his own style in this world. Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.

Fox Sets Date for The Cleveland Show Premiere

Hey, y'all. On September 27, 2009 The Cleveland Show will premiere on Fox at 8:30 p.m. ET, replacing King of the Hill in the Animation Domination line-up. The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad will also premiere that night, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. Seems like The Cleveland Show is already getting more support (and hype) than the short-lived Sit Down, Shut Up. Seth MacFarlane: Golden Boy.

Homer Simpson Now on TomTom

Since GPS became so readily available, many fans have asked me to find Homer Simpson's voice to download for their TomTom. Until now, I had to disappoint them. The summer road trip just got a whole lot easier to handle with the introduction of the new Homer Simpson GPS system from TomTom and 20th Century Fox. TomTom users can go to www.tomtom.com/simpsons and download the "D'oh!" voice for a very reasonable price. I don't know, but having Homer tell me to turn left in 50 feet sounds like a lot of fun. Cartoon Vampires

Vampires are enjoying their day in the sun, so to speak. Twilight was a huge hit, spawning the New Moon sequel. True Blood just started its second season on HBO, after months of hype and DVD sales. Why shouldn't animated bloodsuckers share some of the glory (or is it gory)? Enjoy my list of the best cartoon vampires -- bleh!
